ALEXANDER RODRIGUES – Co-founder of MAYA has worked on initiating programs, designing approaches, implemented and over the years developed them into three independent entities namely Prajayatna, MAYA Organic and LabourNet.

JOSEPH GERARD RAJESH – Assistant professor of Azim Premji University has the experience in the field of urban poverty dealing with issues of unorganized labour, financial inclusion, social security, migration, job placement, training, and skill enhancement in the informal sector of the economy.

RASHMI HEBRI- working in the development sector for the past 25 years, involved in designing and implementing large scale developmental programs worked with not for profits, government and in the corporate sector. Her contributions have been in the areas of building support structures to address child rights, livelihoods, health, and empowerment of women for sustained change.

NAVEEN BAGALKOT- Researcher, Course-Lead: M.Des Human Cantered Design. As an Interaction design researcher involved in the domain of designing for out-of-clinic healthcare, exploring the design of pervasive and mobile Information & Communication Technology.

KIRTHIRAJ CHAUHAN

Member

Kirthiraj Chauhan – worked as a consultant for implementing GOI Ayushman Bharat’s NCD program nationally. He worked for Goldman Sachs in NY and Hong Kong 15 years in the finance industry. As a member of SVP (Social Venture Partners) he was engaged with MAYA since 2016

1992: Eradication of Child Labour

1993: Community owned early childhood care and educational centers

1995: Prevocational program and vocational training centers.

2000: Launched Prajayatna now an independent entity working to improve Public Education

2001: MAYA Organic – a design and marketing company – focused on training women artisans in the Lacware sector.

2014: Launched Labournet now an independent entity to formalize the informal service sector.

2014: Initiated Women Entrepreneurship program in Health Sector

2019:  Registered 2 companies  to support artisans of Channapatna. ArtisanPride Producer Company Ltd and Fairkraft Creations Pvt Ltd

2022: Parents for Inclusive Development  (PID ) program focussing on parents of children with Intellectuals Disability and development (IDD)
